Description

We are a well-established commercial construction company in Amsterdam seeking a mid-level assistant to join our team. Our projects include offices and retail spaces where quality craftsmanship and adherence to deadlines are crucial.

As a construction assistant, you will support skilled workers by preparing construction materials, assisting with installing masonry, moving heavy items, and ensuring all tasks comply with safety and quality standards. You will also help coordinate deliveries and maintain organized workspaces.

The role is full-time onsite, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights using scaffolding are required.

We offer a competitive salary of €18.50 to €20 per hour, paid leave, and opportunities for certification courses to advance your career.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years' experience in construction assistance
• Knowledge of commercial building materials and methods
• Comfortable working at heights and in variable weather
• Strong communication skills in English
• EU work permit
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety procedures
