Skilled Bricklaying Assistant for Residential Construction in Amsterdam

Our residential building company in Amsterdam is hiring a skilled assistant for bricklaying operations. We construct new homes and apartment complexes with attention to structural integrity and aesthetics. Our team seeks motivated individuals with hands-on experience assisting masons.
Responsibilities include mixing mortar to precise ratios, transporting bricks to workstations, cleaning bricks, ensuring quality control with measurements, and supporting bricklayers by setting up scaffolding and managing waste. You will report daily to the site supervisor.
This role offers a full-time onsite work schedule, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Work is physically demanding and involves exposure to outdoor conditions.
We provide a competitive salary between €18 and €20 per hour reflecting experience, Dutch labor standard benefits, and opportunities to develop towards becoming a certified bricklayer.
Requirements
• Good knowledge of mortar mixing and brick handling
• Physically fit and able to stand and lift for extended periods
• Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites
• Basic English communication skills
• Valid work permit for the Netherlands
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
