Description

Join our dynamic commercial construction company in Amsterdam as a bricklayer assistant. We work on large-scale office and retail building projects focusing on quality and efficiency. Our team values skilled support staff who help ensure smooth progress and compliance with building standards.

In this role, you will assist bricklayers by measuring and cutting bricks, mixing mortar according to specifications, supplying bricks on scaffolds, and cleaning tools and work areas. You will coordinate with other trades under the supervision of the site manager to maintain workflow continuity.

The job is full-time onsite Monday to Friday. Work hours are typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with legally mandated breaks. You must be prepared for physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years assisting in bricklaying or similar construction tasks
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness
• Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations
• Ability to read measurements and work plans
• Team player with good communication skills in English
• EU work permit
• Responsible and punctual
