Description

Our well-established orchid nursery near Apeldoorn invites experienced greenhouse workers to join our team. We proudly cultivate multiple orchid species, focusing on quality and aesthetics for domestic and export markets.

Key daily responsibilities include careful handling and repotting of orchid plants, monitoring humidity and temperature controls, pruning damaged foliage, applying fertilizers, and assisting with packaging delicate plants. Maintaining cleanliness and pest inspection are essential to protect these sensitive plants.

The greenhouse environment is controlled with stable temperature and humidity settings suited to orchids. Tasks require precision and attention to detail. Work hours are standard 40-hour weeks with occasional weekend shifts during peak flowering times.

Requirements

• At least 2 years experience working with orchids or similar plants
• Knowledge of orchid care and greenhouse climate management
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Basic English proficiency
