Description

We are a mid-sized construction firm focused on commercial renovation projects across Apeldoorn, looking for a skilled Construction Helper to join our renovation teams. The role involves assisting tradespeople with demolition, debris removal, installation of fixtures, and preparation of surfaces for repainting or re-flooring. Daily tasks include operating light machinery, mixing materials, and ensuring tools are correctly maintained.

You will work on-site in dynamic environments, often indoors in partially completed buildings. Safety is a top priority, and strict adherence to protocols is expected. Typical hours are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday through Friday, with possible weekend work during peak periods.

We provide competitive pay between EUR 16.50 and EUR 18.50 per hour based on experience, paid vacation days, and ongoing training opportunities to help you advance your career in construction.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in construction or renovation
• Knowledge of demolition and surface preparation techniques
• Ability to safely operate hand and light power tools
• Good physical condition for manual labor
• Basic English communication skills

• EU work permit
• Flexibility for occasional weekend work
