Description

Join a progressive agricultural company focused on advanced greenhouse vegetable production near Apeldoorn. We are seeking a senior greenhouse technician to lead technical crop management efforts and support operational efficiency.

Your daily role includes overseeing climate control systems, diagnosing plant health issues, coordinating pest and disease control, training junior workers, and optimizing fertilization schedules. You will work closely with the agronomy department to implement best practices.

The work environment is a high-tech greenhouse with modern climate and irrigation controls. Physical activity is required but balanced with technical diagnostic tasks. Standard full-time hours, with occasional early mornings or late shifts during critical periods.

We provide a competitive salary between EUR 20.00 and EUR 24.00 per hour reflecting your expertise, plus ongoing professional development and a permanent employment contract.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in greenhouse crop management
• Strong knowledge of vegetable physiology and greenhouse climate systems
• Ability to lead and train a team
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent basic English, Dutch language skills are a plus
• EU work authorization
• Willingness to work full-time onsite with flexible hours
