Description

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Assistant for a nursing home specializing in elderly care in The Hague. This role involves assisting with equipment upkeep, minor repairs, and daily facility maintenance to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

Typical duties include routine inspections of electrical and mechanical systems, repairing furniture or fixtures, supporting external contractors, and maintaining maintenance logs. You will work in close collaboration with the nursing and facility management teams, adhering to all healthcare compliance and safety protocols.

The position requires working standard daytime hours with occasional emergency callouts. The nursing home offers a modern and well-maintained facility with a focus on employee welfare. Protective equipment and tools are provided, and comprehensive health and safety training is mandatory.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in healthcare or related facility

• Valid EU work authorization
• Punctual and safety-conscious approach
• Willingness to participate in emergency duty rotations
