Description

We operate a large flower greenhouse near Breda that requires a technician to monitor and adjust climate control systems to optimize growing conditions for various ornamental plants.

Responsibilities include operating heating, ventilation, shading, and irrigation controls; troubleshooting system issues; and collaborating with production staff to maintain healthy plants. Prior experience with greenhouse automation systems is desirable.

Work is indoors with occasional physical tasks such as inspecting equipment and accessing control panels. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.

The role offers a mid-level salary, full-time hours, and opportunities for professional growth in horticultural technology.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience with greenhouse climate systems or related technical work
• Basic knowledge of plant cultivation needs
• Good English communication
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
