Description

Our progressive farm near Den Bosch needs a mid-level agricultural technician to assist in crop monitoring, pest management, and harvest support for various vegetables including lettuce, carrots, and beans.

Your daily responsibilities will include inspecting crops for signs of disease or pests, applying organic pest control methods, coordinating with harvest teams to optimize picking schedules, and maintaining records of crop conditions. You will also help operate certain farm machinery under supervision.

This role requires technical understanding of horticulture practices and physical capability to assist in manual harvesting when needed. Work is primarily outdoors with variable hours depending on crop cycles. PPE and technical training will be provided.

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in agricultural or horticultural technician roles
• Basic English and ability to communicate on site
• Knowledge of crop monitoring and pest control techniques
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
• Experience operating farm machinery is a plus
• Good organizational and reporting skills
