Our agricultural company near Den Bosch is hiring a mid-level vegetable crop assistant to support harvesting and post-harvest handling operations. We produce a wide range of vegetables including beans, radishes, and lettuce for fresh markets.
The role involves working closely with harvest teams to pick crops, wash and prepare produce for packaging, monitor post-harvest storage conditions, and maintain cleanliness of processing areas. You will help optimize workflow to reduce product loss and ensure freshness.
Work is physically active, requiring lifting and standing for extended periods. Shifts are during daytime with some early starts. Equipment such as gloves and aprons will be provided. Adherence to hygiene standards and safety rules is essential.
