Description

Join our well-established construction firm working on major infrastructure projects in Rotterdam. We are seeking a carpenter assistant with 1-3 years of experience who can support carpenters by preparing materials, assembling formworks, and assisting with installations. You will be involved in reading simple blueprints, measuring and cutting timber, and ensuring correct assembly according to project specifications. Our daily operations require close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team ensuring safety and quality standards. Work happens primarily outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions. We provide a clear schedule, appropriate protective equipment, and emphasize a supportive work environment where your expertise will grow.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in carpentry or construction assistance
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings
• Manual dexterity and hand tool proficiency
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Understanding of Dutch safety regulations
• Basic English communication skills
• Valid EU work permit
