Entry-Level Greenhouse Assistant for Herb and Lettuce Cultivation in Groningen

A medium-sized agricultural company specializing in organic herb and lettuce production seeks entry-level greenhouse assistants. Our farm focuses on year-round production in controlled greenhouse environments to supply local markets with fresh leafy greens and culinary herbs. As a greenhouse assistant, you will support planting, trimming, pest inspection, and harvest operations under supervision.

Your daily tasks include planting seedlings, monitoring moisture and temperature levels, removing damaged leaves, and packing harvested herbs. You will work closely with experienced staff to learn cultivation best practices and maintain high quality standards.

The working environment is indoors in greenhouses with controlled climate conditions. The role requires standing and moving for most of the day and adherence to strict hygiene protocols. Shifts are usually daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
