Description

Our local bakery in Groningen is looking for reliable bread delivery drivers to join our transport team. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh products daily across the city and surrounding areas. As a bread delivery driver, you will be the face of our bakery to customers and stores, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Your daily tasks will include loading bread and bakery products onto the delivery van, planning efficient routes, making customer deliveries while maintaining product quality, and performing basic vehicle checks. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics staff to ensure smooth operations.

Working conditions include early morning shifts starting around 4:00 AM to ensure fresh bread availability first thing in the morning. You will drive a company van within Groningen and nearby towns. The role requires physical stamina for handling products and adherence to transport safety rules.

We offer competitive hourly wages starting at €15.00 per hour, paid breaks, and stable full-time hours. Our team values punctuality and safety and provides on-the-job training for new drivers.

Requirements

• Valid Dutch B driving license
• Experience driving delivery vans preferred but not required
• Good knowledge of Groningen city and nearby delivery zones
• Basic physical fitness to load and unload bread
• Ability to start early morning shifts
• Basic English communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality
