Senior Agricultural Technician for Precision Vegetable Farming in Groningen

A leading high-tech vegetable farm located near Groningen is recruiting a senior agricultural technician specializing in precision farming techniques. Our farm grows a variety of vegetables including lettuce, spinach, and peppers using automated irrigation and climate control technologies. You will play a key role in monitoring crop performance through data analysis and adjusting environmental controls to optimize yield and quality.

Daily tasks include managing sensor systems, conducting soil and plant health tests, coordinating irrigation schedules, and supervising junior farm workers. You will work closely with the farm manager to implement sustainable agricultural innovations and maintain detailed cultivation records.

Working conditions include a combination of office-based data work and field inspections in greenhouse and open-field settings.
