Description

We are a specialized transport company focusing on flower logistics within the Leiden area. Our dedicated team ensures fresh flowers reach customers and retail outlets in perfect condition. We seek a transport assistant to support drivers and warehouse teams.

Daily tasks include preparing flower shipments, assisting with loading and unloading delicate goods, checking delivery schedules, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also help with vehicle cleaning and simple maintenance checks. Communication with drivers and coordination with the warehouse are essential parts of this role.

Work is based at our Leiden facility and involves standing and lifting light to medium loads (up to 15 kg). The environment is fast-paced during peak season, requiring flexibility and teamwork. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional early mornings during busy periods.

We offer an hourly wage starting at €15.00 with opportunities for overtime during peak flower seasons. Training on flower handling and logistics systems is provided. Our friendly workplace culture encourages collaboration and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle delicate items carefully
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
• Good organizational skills
• Team player with positive attitude
• English communication skills
• Experience in logistics or warehouse environment preferred
