Located in Leiden, our advanced vegetable greenhouse operation seeks a skilled specialist to oversee crop growth and assist with daily cultivation activities. We are engaged in high-tech horticultural practices aimed at maximizing yield and crop quality sustainably.

Your daily responsibilities include monitoring plant nutrition and irrigation schedules, identifying pest or disease issues, guiding junior workers in planting and harvesting processes, and maintaining growth records. You will support the greenhouse manager in implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working conditions include a humid, warm greenhouse environment with use of technology such as automated climate control systems. The role requires physical activity including lifting and moving plant trays and spending extended periods on foot.
