Kitchen Assistant for Large-Scale Food Production Kitchen in Leiden

We operate a high-volume food production kitchen in Leiden, supplying ready meals and side dishes to retail clients throughout the country. Our kitchen combines efficient processes with stringent hygiene standards.

Your daily tasks include preparing ingredients, cleaning equipment and workspaces, assisting chefs in basic cooking steps, portioning meals, and packaging finished products. Maintaining strict adherence to food safety rules is essential.

The role is physically active, requiring standing, lifting moderate weights, and working in a warm kitchen environment. Shifts include early mornings and occasional weekends. PPE and hygiene training are provided to all staff.
