Description

We manage a large freight logistics hub near Leiden, providing transport services for heavy and oversized cargo. We are seeking a senior truck driver with extensive experience to join our professional team and handle complex freight assignments.

Your responsibilities include driving heavy trucks with trailers, overseeing freight loading/unloading procedures, ensuring compliance with Dutch and EU transport regulations, maintaining vehicle condition, and coordinating with warehouse and dispatch staff. You will also mentor junior drivers and assist in planning efficient transport routes.

Work involves physical endurance, problem-solving, and adherence to strict safety protocols. The role may require occasional night shifts and weekend work. Our fleet is equipped with modern safety technologies, and we provide ongoing training and certifications.

Requirements

• Valid CE license with endorsements for heavy vehicles
• 5+ years heavy freight driving experience
• Excellent knowledge of EU transport rules and safety
• Fluent English skills

• Clean driving record and EU work eligibility
• Strong physical stamina
