Description

A large-scale construction materials logistics provider based in Maastricht requires certified forklift operators experienced in handling heavy and bulky goods such as bricks, tiles, and cement bags. The company supports the regional construction industry with timely deliveries to sites.

The operator will be tasked with loading/unloading trucks, stacking and moving pallets of construction materials safely within the warehouse and yard, and assisting in inventory counts. The job demands precision handling of heavy loads, compliance with health and safety regulations, and routine forklift maintenance checks.

Work occurs in outdoor and covered warehouse spaces, requiring the ability to work in variable weather conditions. Shift timings are generally day shifts, with occasional overtime during peak construction seasons.

We offer a competitive wage of €20.00 to €24.00 per hour depending on experience, plus Dutch legal employment conditions and opportunities for overtime pay. Professional forklift training and PPE are provided.

Requirements

• Valid forklift license with experience in heavy materials
• Minimum 3 years working in construction materials logistics
• Good understanding of workplace safety standards
• Basic English communication language
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• EU work authorization
