Description

Our food distribution warehouse supplies fresh and frozen products to restaurants throughout Maastricht. We seek reliable warehouse assistants to support the daily operations of receiving, storing, and preparing food orders for delivery.

Daily duties include unloading food shipments, inspecting quality and temperature, organizing products by category and expiration dates in cold storage, packing orders according to delivery schedules, and maintaining cleanliness in the food-grade warehouse areas. Knowledge of food safety standards and personal hygiene practices is essential.

The role involves working in chilled environments and following strict safety and hygiene protocols. Shift work is available between early mornings and afternoons. The company complies fully with Dutch labor, health, and safety legislation.

The wage starts at €15.50 per hour, with training provided on HACCP and warehouse processes. We value punctuality, teamwork, and commitment in our staff.

Requirements

• Basic English skills
• Experience or willingness to learn food safety and handling protocols
• Able to work in refrigerated environments
• Physical stamina for lifting boxes up to 20 kg
• Good organizational skills
• Reliable and punctual
• EU work authorization
