Description

Our food logistics warehouse in Maastricht specializes in fresh and frozen products requiring expert forklift operators to handle sensitive goods and comply with strict hygiene standards. We seek an experienced professional to join our team and ensure efficient material handling.

The role includes moving pallets in cold storage, loading and unloading delivery trucks, conducting daily forklift maintenance checks, supervising junior operators, and collaborating with logistics coordinators to optimize warehouse flow. Experience with refrigerated warehouses is required.

Work takes place mainly in refrigerated areas with temperatures below 4°C, requiring appropriate clothing and stamina. The shifts follow the standard Dutch working hours with occasional weekend coverage. Safety and hygiene protocols are strictly enforced.

We offer a senior hourly salary from €22.00 up to €26.00, paid training on food safety, opportunities for overtime, and a full Dutch employment contract.

Requirements

• Certified forklift operator with at least 4 years’ experience
• Experience working in refrigerated or food storage environments
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety regulations
• Good communication skills in English
• Physical fitness to work in cold conditions
• Leadership abilities to support team members
• EU work authorization
