Description

A modern meat processing facility in Rotterdam is seeking a technical maintenance technician to maintain and repair production machinery. Our plant relies on continuous operation of deboning, cutting, and packaging machines to meet delivery deadlines.

Your responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs to minimize downtime, and working closely with production managers. You will document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The working environment is industrial and refrigerated, and you may be required to work early shifts or emergency call-outs.

The salary range is €24.00 to €30.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, with statutory benefits and training support.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or certification in mechanical/electrical maintenance
• 2+ years experience in industrial machinery maintenance
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Basic English language skills
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments
• EU work permit
• Availability for shift work and emergencies
