Description

Tilburg hospital is searching for Nursing Support Workers to provide compassionate care within the elderly care unit. This role assists registered nurses in delivering daily care to elderly patients with diverse needs.

Your responsibilities will include helping patients with personal hygiene, monitoring nutrition, facilitating mobility exercises, and providing social interaction to enhance patient wellbeing. You will help maintain a calm and safe environment adapted to elderly care requirements.

The job requires onsite presence with rotating shifts including weekends. Training and supervision are provided. You will work in a team prioritizing respect and empathy.

We offer hourly wages between 15.50 and 17.00 EUR, supportive training programs aimed at elderly care specialization, and all statutory Dutch employment benefits.

Requirements

• Basic healthcare or caregiving experience preferred
• Patience and empathy for elderly patients
• Good English language skills
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care
• Willingness to work shift patterns onsite
• EU work permit required
