Description

A leading technical trades company in Tilburg requires a Senior Carpentry Workshop Assistant experienced in operating woodworking machinery to support high-volume production of wooden components. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside skilled carpenters and machine operators.

Your daily duties include setting up and operating saws, planers, and sanders, assisting with quality control, preparing materials according to specifications, and maintaining workshop safety standards. You will also train junior assistants and ensure machine efficiency.

The job is onsite in the Tilburg workshop, with a 40-hour week and occasional overtime. The company strictly adheres to Dutch labor laws, including safety regulations and fair compensation.

We offer a competitive senior-level salary of EUR 19.00 to 24.00 per hour, comprehensive workplace safety training, and opportunities for professional growth in carpentry and machine operation techniques.

Requirements

• 3+ years carpentry workshop experience with machine operation
• Proficiency with woodworking machinery (saws, planers, sanders)
• Good understanding of safety protocols
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff

• Physically fit for manual labor
• EU work authorization
