Description

Discover an exciting opportunity as a senior agricultural technician at a progressive farm near Venlo. The farm focuses on optimizing crop yields through soil analysis, precision agriculture methods, and improved cultivation techniques.

Daily tasks include conducting soil sampling and testing, advising on fertilization plans, implementing crop rotation strategies, and supervising planting and harvesting teams. You will work closely with agronomists and farm managers to enhance productivity and sustainability.

The position requires field visits, data analysis, and occasional reporting. You will work outdoors and also spend time in the farm office planning upcoming crop cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in agriculture or related field
• Minimum 4 years experience in crop management or agricultural consultancy
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use agri-software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Fluent in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus
• Valid EU working permit
• Willingness to travel locally
