Description

Our busy food processing plant specializing in fresh vegetables in Westland seeks a technical maintenance technician. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot machine breakdowns, and assist in installation of new production equipment. This role requires technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in food processing machinery. You will work within a team to minimize production downtime and ensure machines operate safely and efficiently. The workplace follows strict hygiene and safety protocols, and shift work is part of the job.

Requirements

• Technical certification or equivalent experience in machinery maintenance
• 2+ years experience in food production equipment maintenance
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Strong problem-solving skills
