Food Preparation Assistant in Dutch Hospital Catering Department

Our well-established healthcare facility in Amsterdam is looking for motivated Food Preparation Assistants to join the hospital catering team. We take pride in providing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of patients and staff every day. Working alongside experienced kitchen staff, you will help prepare ingredients, assist with meal assembly, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.

Daily tasks include chopping vegetables, portioning meals according to dietary plans, cleaning kitchen areas, and ensuring all food preparation follows strict health and safety guidelines. You will work closely with dietitians and chefs to guarantee patient satisfaction and well-being through excellent food service.

Our hospital kitchens operate on a fixed schedule with breaks included. Shifts typically run from early morning to mid-afternoon or from midday to evening, including weekends on a rotating basis. We provide all necessary personal protective equipment and training on food safety standards as per Dutch regulations.
