Entry-Level Seafood Sorting Assistant for Netherlands Fishery Plant

Our fishery plant is looking for sorting assistants to join the production line. We handle a variety of fresh and frozen fish, sorting by size, weight, and species to ensure compliance with market and regulatory standards.

Your main duties will include inspecting incoming fish, sorting by predefined quality grades, and preparing sorted batches for processing or packaging. You will work closely with the filleting and packing teams to maintain production flow and product quality.

The environment is refrigerated at around 5°C and requires adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards. Shift work includes early mornings and occasional weekends. Training will be provided to familiarize you with fish species and sorting criteria.
