Description

A well-established community care service in Groningen is seeking compassionate part-time Seniors Companion and Assistance Workers to provide social and practical support to the elderly.

Tasks include providing companionship, assisting with shopping, accompanying clients to appointments, helping with light household tasks, and ensuring seniors maintain social engagement. Regular reporting to supervisors is required.

The position requires flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends. Assignments will be onsite in clients’ homes or community centers. Dutch labor conditions ensure fair shift lengths and rest periods.

We offer part-time contracts with competitive wages and opportunities to expand hours based on performance and client needs.

Requirements

• Basic English communication skills
• Empathy and good interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work varied part-time shifts
• Experience in elderly social support preferred
• Valid EU work permit
• Ability to travel independently within Groningen
• Reliable and punctual
